Throuba olives are exclusively grown and produced in Thassos Island in the North of Greece and hold P.D.O status. It is a unique olive variety, where the olives are left to ripen naturally on the tree with no further processing and with very little salt added. They have a soft flesh (almost like a prune) and a unique bitter sweet flavour.
The perfect complement to your favorite dips, salads and breads as part of a Mediterranean meze feast.
