If you haven’t yet experienced the soulful, organic wines of Lebanon’s first natural producer, Mersel, now is the perfect time.
Founded by three women, Mersel is dedicated to 100% organic, additive-free, unfiltered winemaking, with grapes sourced from Bousit, Wadi Qannoubine, and Maksar Mersel. Winemaker Eddie Chami, formerly of Couvent Rouge—where he helped create Lebanon’s first Petillant Naturel—continues this pioneering spirit at Mersel with a diverse range of wines, including LebNat Pet Nat Gold, Phoenix Merwah, and Dar Richi-Hanan, a red wine made by a Syrian refugee.
This high-altitude Cinsault, grown on 10-year-old vines, is light, juicy, and vibrant. Destemmed into concrete tanks, it ferments for two weeks on the skins before pressing and malolactic fermentation. Best enjoyed chilled, it pairs beautifully with a mezze feast—smoky baba ganoush, grilled halloumi, muhammara, lamb kofta, or a zesty tabbouleh salad.
Mersel’s commitment to sustainability and local farmers goes beyond winemaking—they also shepherd Nubian ibex, a desert goat, the very symbol of Mersel Winery.

We offer FREE delivery throughout the UK mainland on orders of £75+.
We deliver nationwide within the UK mainland (excludes Jersey, Scottish Highlands & Islands) every Tuesday and Friday via our trusted delivery partner DPD. You will receive an email/text from DPD with an ETA for your delivery.
Specialist Woolcool packaging is used to ensure your delivery remains cool and arrives in perfect condition.
Order cut-off is Monday at midnight for Friday delivery and Thursday at midnight for Tuesday delivery.
