Description

Knafeh, kunafeh, konafa—spelt various ways, this iconic Middle Eastern dessert is a favourite across the Middle East, known to have originated in the Palestinian city of Nablus.

Our ready-to-bake kunefe is made from a layer of mild, stretchy cheese sandwiched between two layers of buttery chopped kadayif—vermicelli-like strands of filo pastry. It includes baking instructions, a generous helping of delicately perfumed syrup for ladling over before serving, plus ground pistachios and rose petals for that final flourish.

Delicious served with a dollop of clotted cream or vanilla ice cream, this beloved Turkish sweet is a true indulgence.
